Food Inc. & Chipotle update. A piece from a ranty/bloggy-type person at the Nation, pointing out some action from the film's producers against the fast-food chain. Apparently they signed on to a letter protesting some of Chipotle's policies, like not paying farm workers enough for tomatoes.
What's crazy is that the columnist has lots of praise for these letter-writers/filmmakers and plenty of protest against Chipotle's business practices, but then he thinks C.'s sponsorship of the film is really okay after all, since it got lots of people to see it in theaters!
Probably the main thing should be the farm workers' campaign against the slave-like conditions in the tomato fields in Florida, and not what a bunch of bloggers think.
