The season is winding down. We took down some of the tomatoes yesterday, and have been gradually planting cover crops over the farm. We only have three CSA distributions left - a week and a half.

Very odd waking up in the dark and driving to the farm. And transitioning to fall and winter vegetables, and making attempts to put up food for the winter (mostly tomato things). Summing up receipts from the year, and taking time to evaluate what worked and what didn't, which varieties we liked the most, etc. Trying to make a plan for the winter...
