Boston, a city with lots of seasonal farmers' markets, doesn't have a daily public food market, like many major cities (Pike Place in Seattle, for example. Where they throw the fish around.)
But one might be in the works! Maybe it will be as good as the Big Dig, which only took 25 years and cost 3 times as much as originally estimated. It's being developed by the Mass. Turnpike Authority, so not really a good sign.
