Some tough days at the farm recently - very hot (over 95 3 or 4 days in a row last week) and we've been short crew members and looking at more projects than we can think of starting, let alone finishing. But some great moments in all of the challenges - harvesting over 600 pounds of summer squash & zucchini this week, every other day; rescuing a carrot planting from death by weeds; swimming in the pond around the corner after a hot day; showing King Corn outside on the wall of the barn with friends. And I finally got a handle on the seeder and planted about 10 beds of crops!
